Wait, what’s that, do you ask yourself in disbelief, checking the subject and sender of this email. Yes, the world shakes to its very foundation as the Dense newsletter rises back from the dead, ready to inform you about beats, breaks and riffs that you just need to listen to. Let it be known, that after a period of internet silence, we’re back with a vengeance. Just like that.

And what’s burning hot, you ask? How about you learn about 2562’s new album, “Unbalance”, considering how much everybody here loved last year’s previous “Aerial”? Or to stay in the grey waters between dubstep, techno and electronica, give a try to Shackleton and Invasion’s “Wizard in dub”, or the two new Ikonika records on Planet Mu and Hyperdub? And yes, I’m told you all should know that we also have in stock the new Four Tet 12″ on Domino, containing a remix by Roska. We’ve also received some new 8-bit dub from the Jahtari roster, and some seriously broken hardcore from The Outside Agency.

Those of you who want things a bit rockier should enjoy the new Fuck Buttons album, “Tarot Sport”, Yo La Tengo’s “Popular Songs” or a really nice DVD documenting Einstürzende Neubauten’s first concert in the then not yet reunited East Berlin. After this, you might chill out with the long delayed but finally there vinyl version of Rafael Anton Irisarri’s excellent “Daydreaming” album on Miasmah.

Finally, we’re feeling particularey generous lately and want to educate your ears a bit more. Therefore, everybody buying for more than 30 € in the coming days will be able to go home with a free copies of Nurse With Wound’s “Paranoisa In Hi-Fi” CD, an album which the Dirter label is making available only through regular indie shops like ourself.
