Dense

One city, one store, two locations: As the Club Transmediale 2008 opened its door on Friday, so did the Dense in-festival store, located between the two floors of the Maria club. Come, say hi, and get some fresh music if you attend the festival.

This week’s buzz word is probably “song-writing”, and we have it in plenty of flavors. It’s all urban and gentle with Raz Ohara‘s new untitled album, twisted and playful with Felix Kubin‘s “Music For The Theatre”, and massive and somber with Wolves In The Throne Room‘s “Diadem of 12 stars” and “Two Hunters”. People looking for more dancefloor material will check out the three new acid / italo 12″ on the Drehmoment label, while nostalgic of fast cars and easy ladies should check the three “Beats At Cinecitta” compilation of film music from the italian 60′s and 70′s.
