Before we start: we’re throwing a new in store party this very Saturday (June 21st) for the Fête de La Musique. Performing live at the shop will be Menu exit (Underscan), Hecq (Hymen) and Miwon + Bogger (City Centre Offices, Digital Gadget). The entrance is free, it will all start around 8PM, and go till around 23h. Good music assured.

Pretty varied newsletter this week, as the scope of the spotlight new releases couldn’t be any wider. Judge by yourself. Beatier and more broken are this week Enduser’s latest album, “Left”, finally available on vinyl (we’ve had the CD for some time already), as well as AZ-Rotator‘s new full length album, “Undefinable Sugar Cube”, released on Barcelona’s Lovethechaos label.

On the one hand, big consensus among the Densers for “Die Wichtigkeit”, the debut 12″ on Sonig by Xberg Dhirty Cru, a quite absurd, insane and very tongue-in-cheek record of twisted german hip hop.

On the other hand, things get a lot more serious, a lot cleaner, and a lot more black and white with Alva Noto’s new full length album, “Unitxt”, out on Raster Noton and available on both CD and vinyl as well as with Byetone‘s “Death Of A Typographer” CD, als on Raster Noton.

Another important release just fresh from the pressing plant is the long awaited “Los Angeles” full length by Flying Lotus, in stock on both CD and vinyl

Dubstep fans will enjoy 2562‘s new “Aerial” album, as well as the recent Benga and Coki records on Big Apple, and Rob Spark‘s “Prayer remixes”, featuring a very nice version by Planet Mu’s Distance.
