Incredible but true, the year reaches its second week, and Dense has a second newsletter for everybody. Being late is so 2007.

Before we begin: don’t forget the “Densefloor party this Thursday at the NBI. Not only will Japan’s El Fog play one of his rare live-set, but everybody involved in the Dense store will also play a DJ set. And did we mention that the entrance is free?

And now for the new stuff this week: a lot of brand new sound, among other the new 12″ by the great Various Productions (“Chief EP”), but also Marc Houle‘s new record on Richie Hawtins’s Minus label and a new CD & DVD of noise veteran and long time Merzbow collaborator Zbigniew Karkowski. Feeling curious? Then definitely check the excellent “Persian electronic music, 1966-2006″ on Sub Rosa, a double CD of electronic composition from Iran.
